Here's my overdue post about all our Halloween festivities we did this year.

Hooray!!

 We tried to make the most of the good weather and squeezed in lots of halloween/fall stuff this year. 

We've made it a tradition of going out to Gardner Village in October, such a fun and festive place during this time of year. Plus I love their candy store, I mean Addie loves their candy store...

Addie wouldn't take her eyes off of it except for the split second I snapped a picture.

They have different witches all over the village, love it.

Brandon and Ash and fam have also made Gardner Village a tradition, in fact it may have been their tradition first and we're just jumping on the band wagon :)

Next up, Cornbelly's corn maze.

We had TONS of fun this night, we went out with Brig, Nate and Bree.  I failed to get many pictures and only took a couple on our phones but we had a scary good time.

There is SO much stuff to do, in fact we didn't even do the main corn maze, we spent all our time playing in the kids mazes, haunted train ride, bouncy houses, watching pigs races, and going through all the haunted mazes. 

My fav was the one that you entered through a HUGE monster's mouth and followed it through the stomach and on out! Addie kept calling it the scary rhino...
There was also a clown maze which totally freaked Bree and I, we went in by ourselves
and luckily made it out alive...

Addie was not a huge fan of all the scary stuff (see scary clown above!)

 good thing there was tons of awesome kids stuff to do.

The highlight was the LAST maze of the night, insanity point. It had a super long line all night so we we're debating leaving without doing it...but kept hearing how it was the best of all. It was getting late enough that the line started moving pretty fast and Addie was in a dead sleep in my arms so they went for it. Bree held Addie for me on the second time around so I could go with the boys.

And WOW it was worth it.

Highlight was seeing Nate book it through a bunch of corn and jump a fence to get away from the chain saw guy. AND walking through an old abandoned bus with a bunch of crazies inside! only to be met by a chainsaw guy who chased us back through the bus.

Seriously scary stuff. Love it.

Hay ride and pumpkin Patch at J&J Nursery is one of Brooks and Katie's family traditions. We tagged along this year and had a ton of fun!

OK, so FINALLY to Halloween already!

How cute is Princess Belle aka Addie?

And don't deny how much you love our white trash costumes.

Our friends host a Halloween bash each year, and there's always bound to be lots of laughs as every couple gets pretty into it.
Daniel & Katie as polygamists, Warren Jeffs was also in attendance.
Somehow we won best overall costume this year, and trust me there were lots of stellar ones.

All the girl cousins on my side were princesses this year, only one not pictured is Cinderella aka Caroline.

And I wonder why Addie loves princesses so darn much...

We went trick or treating with Breton's side of the fam this year, and Addie and Belle were trick or treating buddies, all the older cousins passed them up.

Addie and Belle we're taking there sweet time skipping to each house and making up songs about candy...it was really entertaining. They were in lovin it.

The second house we trick or treated at, Addie got her piece of candy from the lady then walked right into her house and made herself at home.

We had to explain we don't actually KNOW that person, she just gives us candy.

Nope doesn't make sense to me either.
